about
We wrote this song under the influence of such overshadowing events as the uprising of women in Poland against the ban on abortion “Strajk Kobiet” and obviously the events in our country, where women also had to face monstrous violence. We dedicate this song to all the girls and women of the world who are in different parts of this planet and fighting for their rights. To all women who have been deprived of the right to an abortion, women who are in prison for their beliefs now, women who keep on taking to the streets under threat of death to defend their basic rights, women who no longer intend to tolerate the domination of privileged men. We have no one else to count on in this fight, except ourselves. This song is about solidarity, about sisterhood, the sincerity and dedication with which we are building a liberation movement from patriarchy all over the world. Wherever we are, we are not alone!

lyrics
Keep your filthy hands to yourself
Cause I don’t belong to you
Don’t think I’m here because I am bored
Only the strong of heart are in this crowd
You think, you have all the power over my body now
But beware!
At the end of this verse I’ll give birth to a leftist for you
Rise up, Tokyo girls, Roman boys,*
Don’t let the bastards get you down
Women of the world, don’t give up!
We will crush the patriarchy!
Keep your filthy hands to yourself
Keep them out of my soul
You can put me in jail
But the truth will be here with me
We will change history, so that our children will be proud
We know exactly who’s a friend and who’s an enemy
We won’t put up with this
Now, I won’t be alone
Yes, guys it's war!
*The line "Rise up, Tokyo girls, Roman boys" comes from the poem "Flowers & Bullets" by Yevgeny Yevtushenko
which he wrote for the US student Allison Krause, who was murdered by security forces.
